MCP- As we are entering the ranch, we normally see at least a couple to a group of Javalinas roaming around in the early to mid morning hours.

MCP - You have to be really fast on the camera trigger to get a picture of these Javalinas has they are fast on their feet.

MCP - In trying to take pictures of these Javalinas, Dennis, N5VRP, switches lenses to telephoto to make sure this Javalina does not leave the view.

MCP - Well they tried to hide, but I was a little too fast for them.

MCP - The next couple of photos show the gorgeous mountain tops and valleys as seen on the way into the ranch.

MCP - As we climb the first mountain, we are showing here a mountain that we will be shortly behind.

MCP - These mountain tops are as shown in books and magazines, but really awesome in person.

MCP - In certain times of the day, these mountains really do show their beauty as the sun shines on them.

MCP - You can see as erosion as taking some toll on these mountains, but they still stand the test of time with the help of other vegetation around.

MCP - In early morning trips, we get a chance to see a variety of wild life. This is a small mule deer watching over her doe in the next photo.

MCP - The mule deer doe I was referring to in the last picture. Her mom is off to the right of this photo shot.

MCP - She is really keeping an eye on us to see if we are going to do anything.

MCP - The antenna farm (partial) at the MCP site at the Mt. McElroyRanch.

MCP - Our two bay link array pointing to Dark Canyon site.

MCP - Our repeater antenna and 6-meter remote antennas at the MCP site.

MCP - In this phot you will notice two arrays, one points to Dark Canyon and the other to Glass Moutains.

MCP - A close up of the antennas as described in the past couple of photos.

MCP - Hey guys we have a little vistor over here.

MCP - Joe, W5KTX and Larry, W5EX, pondering want needs to be done with the MCP site generator and transfer switch for emergency power.

MCP - Joe, W5KTX, holding up the NEW transfer switch for the MCP site which is being installed today. Joe is our resident expert on power systems.

MCP - Joe, W5KTX, is preparing to mount and install the new transfer switch.

MCP - After mounting on the wall the new transfer switch, Joe, W5KTX, starts the wiring process. Notice another transfer switch to his right (DOT).

MCP - This is a real historical landmark for this site as it is the housing provided for those who built the site building on top of the mountain.

MCP - A gorgeous view off the top of the MCP site with a telephoto lense.

MCP - Another photo taken with a telephoto lense on top of the MCP mountain site.

MCP - The propane tank and DOT generator for maintaining power at the site if power lines fail. This failure happens several time a year.
