Our Odem site is a necessary link between our sea-level units in downtown Corpus Christi and sites north. Signals travel via a dual path along the two available evacuation routes to San Antonio. Our repeater antenna is at 330 feet, or about 370 feet above sea level.
We built our own shelter for the equipment and brought it in on a trailer. A large ground crew assisted the professional climber. We hauled up a 4-bay Sinclair 307 Yagi for the link north as well as a single 307 south to Spohn Hospital. We are using a Celwave Super Stationmaster as the 440 repeater antenna. All were new.
